The Nagahama Hikiyama Festival is one of Nagahama's world-class festivals, held every year in the town of Nagahama as a festival of Nagahama Hachimangu Shrine.
One of the events that entertain many people during the Nagahama Hikiyama Festival is the Hikiyama Tour.
Hikiyama is a float used for festivals, and Nagahama's Hikiyama is also called a "moving art museum" because it is colored with ornaments, sculptures, and paintings that combine traditional crafts from the Edo period. Among them, the best highlight is the children's Kabuki, which is performed on the stage of the gorgeous and gorgeous Hikiyama. The performances that change every year are performed by boys selected from among the mountain groups in each town that owns Hikiyama. Along with the gorgeous decorations of Hikiyama, the gorgeous appearance and famous performances of the children who have undergone rigorous training before the festival will attract many people.
