  • #Tourist facilities

The Nagahama Bonbai Exhibition, which began in 1952 (Showa 27), celebrates its 75th this year.
The bon plums on display are always lined with about 90 pots according to the flowering season, and are worth seeing, such as giant trees with a height of nearly 3 meters and Furuki, which is said to be 400 years old. Because of its history and size, it is widely known as the "Japan's Best Bonbai Exhibition" and is popular as a feature that colors the New Year of Kansai.
The venue is Keiunkan, a nationally designated scenic spot. It is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and has good access. Please enjoy the beauty of Bonbai lined up in the hall of pure Japanese-style architecture built in the Meiji era.
